Going to Portugal for an unrelated trip but now would like to make the most of it before having to return home. This would be my first time backpacking in Europe. I am unsure of how long to stay in each city and how many I should be able to realistically visit in my time frame. Any additional advice about booking/ how much planning to do in advance vs. while on the road is welcome.
