Hi All!
Yes, I know that this year's holidays are not even over yet, but (bare with me a minute) I do need to plan ahead due to the unstable nature of my latinoamerican country (Argentina).
So, I was planning to travel to Europe for Christmas next year. We are spending Christmas on Barcelonaand New Year's eve on Madrid.
After that, my plan is to fly solo and travel to Berlin by plane. There are no further stops planned after this (this one is a most due to the fact that my best friend lives in Germany).
What would you recommend for a traveler after Berlin? Going to Amsterdam and Belgium, then Denmark? Would you add something here?
Or go south and do the Balcans through Hungary?
Can i get there relatively easy? Which countries are cheaper? Which are hidden gems?
My plan is to have a good amount of money to travel (1500 USD, a bit more if possible)
I would travel back from Barcelona back to Argentina, if the information is usefull.
I pretend to do at least 6-7 stops, taking into consideration that I should be back at Arg on Janury the 15th.
A interesting mix of touristic places with a bit of outoor activities would be great.
We traveling with that budget mentioned earlier, and time should not be an issue (just know as much as I can that's interesting, but i´m not rushing the thing and visiting one city per day sleeping at night in trains)
I thought this:
I either go Berlin - Brugges - Brussels - Amsterdam - Conpenhaghen - Gutemburg to finally see the northern lights
Or Prague - Budapest - Ljubljana - Zagreb - Sarajevo - Kosovo - Tirana
These were my two intial routes. Any advice/notation/experience is well received!
Thanks in advance!
