This is the only chance I have to travel and will be taking my mom and 14 yr old nephew. We enjoy swimming/snorkeling and nature, and I dabble in beginner surfing. I thought Kauai would be cool, but I heard this time of year it's very rainy. I also heard Big Island might be less rainy this time of year. I'm open to suggestions on any other islands too!
How bad is the rain really? Is it intermittent or would it not be worth going this time of year? Thanks for any suggestions!!
