I am planning for a trip from United States for ~2 weeks to Paris, UK, Japan in April. Its a short time to cover these places but currently 2 weeks is what I have at hand for this trip.
I am not completely sure about the price for each destination at this point so I dont have a budget in mind but I would like to keep this on the conservative side as much as possible.
On a high level these are the spots I would like to cover. This is not the final list by any means but I dont want to run around and cover all the spots from a particular place as I want to keep it relaxed:
Paris ->
- Catacombs
- Eiffel Tower
- Lourve Museum
- Arc De Triomphe
UK ->
- Stonehenge
- London Eye
- Tower Bridge
- Explore Couintryside ?
Japan - > Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto
- Mt Fuji
- Fushimi Inari Shrine
- Tokyo, Fish Markets & Temples
- Shinjuku - Neon lights and dim lit streets
- This would be Cherry Blossom season in a few places so would like to see this
Would love to get feedback on how to manage/plan the travel from one destination to another as I am not completely aware about the connectivity with budget and time in mind.
At this point I considered the travel as : US -> Paris -> UK -> Japan -> US
- US to Paris - flight - balance of cheapest/least time possible.
- Cab/train within Paris ?
- Paris -> UK - option to travel via train/flight. Which one is better ?
- UK - Is the train connected to most of the tourist spots ? Guessing cab/train within UK.
- UK -> Japan - Which airport should be considered ? what transport options should I look at ?
Does this seem doable ? I know keeping the travel to Europe only might save time. I am willing to consider skipping Japan and adding Italy but Italy seems to have so many famous spots to cover that I might need to make a solo Italy trip sometime. Still in the initial stages but I should decide soon and book tickets.
