What is a common movie criticism that annoys you?

For me it's wheneve A lot of people call a film "style over substance" just because it is pretty and they didn't like it. Granted, there are films which are pretty and shallow, but to say it about stuff like Blade Runner, Vertigo or Barry Lyndon is a stretch. Also, judging horror movies solely by how scary they are. Fear is the hardest emotion to elicit in the adult mind, and it's unfair to them. We shouldn't ignore great filmmaking in general just because it wasn't scary.
