First, there’s Ridley Scott and then James Cameron and then David Fincher. Has there ever been any 3 consecutive films in an anthology with such epic directors?
Say what you will about Alien 3’s story but it still was a visual treat. As Ebert said when he reviewed it, “It’s the best looking bad film I’ve ever seen.”
PS this has been on my mind recently because I just finished watching Alien and Aliens in the past few days.
