I have a 7 hour layover in Newark between Paris and LA, and I’d love to go into Manhattan for an hour or two. Is this enough time?
If so, what’s the cheapest way to get from Newark into the city and back efficiently? I know you can take the PATH for under $5 one way, but not sure if you can get it from the airport. I’d rather not pay a bunch of money for a shuttle or cab if I don’t have to.
The airport lounge pass is $59, so if I can get into Manhattan, grab a quick bite, and get back to my gate in plenty of time for less than $59, I’d rather do that.
