Priceline Experience

https://ift.tt/eA8V8J

Hello all,

I consciously lurked around this subreddit for weeks figuring out the best way to book my hotel reservation coming up. While I kept seeing the advice to call the hotel directly and never through a third party to book a cheaper price, I did so and came up empty handed.

The hotel's direct price was actually $115 compared to Priceline's $95 a night and they refused to honor it directly. The operator tried to give me a slightly cheaper price but I was like nah. To end it all, I was able to book through Priceline for much cheaper. I can't see what is so bad about Priceline or it's competitive prices. Was I missing something?
