My fam of four have booked tickets to NYC this summer. The tickets were bought using two years worth of credit card points, so we're basically getting there for free. However, I'm still wanting to save money where I can. A few specific questions: should I say 4-5 miles away from NYC and just commute in to save $100+/night or will I regret the hassle? Are there any other ways to save money in terms of seeing the sights and paying for Broadway tickets etc? Thanks.
