Hey all, sorry if this question comes off as ignorant at all but could use some advice. I (25 f) am flying to Rome in May and somehow overlooked that my flight arrives at almost midnight. My hostel is a half hour drive from the airport and I would rather not spend €50 on a taxi and take public transit. However because it will be late and it will also be a Friday I didn’t know if it was a safer idea to just take the taxi and spend the money. I’m a pretty experienced solo traveller I’ve just never been to Rome and It’s a big city, plus I’ll have my 70 litre backpack and a carry on suitcase. Any advice is appreciated! Thanks
