Yet another itinerary check - Madrid and Andalusia

https://ift.tt/npKArBx

I’m currently in the very early stages of planning a trip to Spain this Fall. The only thing solidified are our flights: Landing in Madrid ~9am on Saturday, September 24th and departing Madrid ~11am on Sunday, October 2nd. After reading countless threads about Spain, Andalusia seems like the place to visit for a first trip so that is the main priority. Additionally, I would love to see Toledo if it’s manageable and I would like to be in Madrid the night before our flight home. Currently, here is a rough sketch itinerary that I’d love feedback on from you seasoned travelers out there:

Sep 24 - Land in Madrid at 9am and immediately take the train to Sevilla. Enjoy the afternoon/evening there.

Sep 25 - Day trip to Cordoba

Sep 26 - Sevilla all day, evening train to Granada.

Sep 27 - Granada (Alhambra)

Sep 28 - Guided trip to Ronda

Sep 29 - Granada all day, evening train to Madrid

Sep 30 - Day trip to Toledo

Oct 1 - Madrid

Oct 2 - Fly home 11am

Does this itinerary look reasonable/enjoyable? I’m open to all suggestions on itinerary changes, as well as suggestions on specific things to do in these beautiful places outside of Alcazar, Alhambra, Puente Nuevo, etc etc. Thank you for your time!
