How long should a trip be? Long v short haul

https://ift.tt/eCl7Us2

Ah the eternal travel question, how long is a piece of string? Well it depends where you're going and what you want to do of course but I've always thought there was a more or less generally accepted amount of time for a short trip specifically.

Short haul - say you're flying 1.5 to 2.5 hours away, then its 3, maybe 4 days at a push. Or just a weekend trip if its really close (like an hour flight).

Long haul (4 - 7 hours+) I guess most people would opt for a full week, minimum 5 days but again it largely depends on the person and their itinerary. This could stretch to 2 weeks for some people - though I don't imagine a lot of people are going on 2 week holidays I'm this economic climate.

Anyway what are your thoughts, whats a normal tavel time to you?
