My 65 y/o mom has worked low wage jobs for 30 years, and upon her upcoming retirement near October, Im planning to treat her to a trip. She's always wanted to visit Europe.
She has a bad knee and isn't able to walk long distances so I'm looking for recommendations on cities that are compact, good public transportation. She is interested in baroque and rococo architecture. Clean streets are also important for her to like a city (she hated NYC).
I'm wondering if a week-long cruise to a few cities might be nice for her.
