I have traveled relatively extensively through central Mexico, including all over Mexico City, Morelia, Taxco, Teotihuacán, Cuernavaca, many pueblos mágicos. I see a ton of hype on Reddit for San Miguel de Allende, but when I look at photos, it does not look like it’s that much more unique than Morelia or Taxco, but I also do not want to judge it harshly because I have never been. I am just wondering, where puts it above the places I have visited already? Is it going to blow me away if I’ve already seen those other places? Someone who has been there before, please chime in, I am interested.
