Hi I'm 18M and my friends, both 18F, came to me saying they want to go to Italy for their 19th birthdays. I've never traveled outside the Midwest, and never by plane so I have no idea what to expect for expenses. I looked it up online (although I'm not sure how flight websites really work so I could be way off), but it said round trip tickets are $2000 usd. Along with the tickets, im wondering how much I should bring for food, activities, etc...?
Note: we haven't planned on where in Italy we want to go, i was just trying to get a rough idea on the cost so I could see if I should just reject their offer ahead of time
