Is $2,600 a lot to travel round trip to Hawaii from the east coast?

Hello,

I am very new at buying plane tickets. I’m planning on traveling to Hawaii July 22. I’ve been looking for plane tickets since august and they have been around $3-3,500.

I found some for $2,600 for two people. Should I wait to buy them to see if I can get a better price or buy them at 2,600?

The $2,600 also includes the extra room seats and first checked bag.

Edit: flying from Boston to Oahu and then Maui back to Boston staying July 3-14
