Hi there! I (20F) study med lab science in Denmark. My career choice opens lots of opportunities for me to travel, and also get a PHD all around the world. I have been thinking about moving (with my boyfriend 22M) away from Denmark, as soon I finish my school. I love the danish lifestyle and also the politics, but our main issue is the bad weather and sometimes cold people. We thought about moving to either Australia or New Zealand, as our dream life would be being able to go to the beach a lot and live a simple life, while still enjoying our youth, going out to bars with friends sometimes. We also would love to end up moving somewhere where people are really open, accepting and easy to make friends with. Australia was my first choice only because of the warmer weather than NZ, while my boyfriend would say his first choice would be the North Island of NZ, because he would really hate having to worry all the time about venomous animals, and for example having to check our shoes for spiders every time before we put them on. It would be kind of stressing, since we come from a country where there are no venomous animals. Is New Zealands weather much worse than Australias, and which country would you think suits our preferences best?
