Hey people out there, I'm an European trying to accomplish a dream of mine which is to travel a bit in the US this fall. As of now, I plan to stay seventeen days.
First four will be Miami : - visit the city and maybe try out a shooting range (maybe there are better states/cities to do this kind of stuff?) - Visit the Keys on a day trip - another day for the Everglades - I leave on the afternoon of the fourth day, by bus (renting a car is quite expensive as I'm 24, so I've got to pay extra)
Then comes Orlando : - Universal - Kennedy space Center - Hopefully a rocket launch can fit into my schedule
After that, I'm a bit lost. I've got five days to travel to Houston, where I'm getting a car to travel to South Texas and back (bit of a space nerd, I'm planning to see the Starbase factory next to Brownsville).
Any recommandations on cities I should check out between Orlando and Houston? Activities to try out? Also, I'll be in Texas during Thanksgiving.. so if there's something fun and special to do, it'd be a shame to miss it. Thanks to any of you for the advice.
