hi! if you were traveling around the world for a year or two and wanted to keep your US number, how would you do it?
my current phone has only one SIM slot. but i am wondering if i buy a new phone with dual SIM (eSIM?) can i keep my US number and put in local SIM cards wherever i go. should i consider google fi? i tried them in 2019 when i first left the US and had to cancel after a month or two. their customer service was garbage (back then). i am currently using t-mobile. but i'm fairly certain they will cancel my contract if i use them outside the US for more than a few months.
