Next June to August I’ll be solo backpacking through : Lisbon, Barcelona, Madrid, Naples, Athens, Prague, Budapest, Paris, Istanbul , and London. Is 4000 euros enough for strict spending money?
This 4000 doesn’t include flights and hostels as I already have $$ set aside
Also I’m aware some of these places don’t use euros
Last year we did a trip to Netherlands (my son is stationed there). We had a base in Amsterdam, did a day trip to Jordaan, overnight in Maastricht, and Christmas markets in Aachen for a day. Felt like we could have stayed longer though and seen more. Next year is our 25th wedding anniversary and although we planned on a different trip, we are looking to return to Belgium this time for about 8-9 days. We expect our son will be available for a visit like he did in Netherlands. I have Ghent, Bruges, Liege, Spa, Dinant, Leuven, and Namur on our "watchlist" for planning. We are just looking for advice on planning without changing hotels every other day and having a gothic, moody, winter romance vibe. Thoughts welcome!
