We have a family vacation planned for June to see some National Parks. Cost of each flight was $536- which was a lot for this family of 4. United has given us the option to receive credit for the flight with no fees and 2 years to use the credit. The same flight on another airline is about $370. Am I crazy to take the credit with United to use for another vacation (next year?) and book the flights with another airline? Bit of a gamble....the trip leaves on June 19th. I'd really be gambling on things being close to back to normal by then. I think all National Parks are currently closed.
