Hi everyone,
I’ll be visiting Sydney for about 3–4 days and I’d really like to use the trip to learn as much as I can about Aboriginal and First Nations culture.
I’m particularly interested in traditional Aboriginal cultural performances, including dance and didgeridoo, Dreamtime storytelling, traditional art and symbolism, rock art, engravings and pictograms.
I would absolutely love to visit the Outback, but unfortunately the flights to places like Uluru/Ayers Rock, Broken Hill or Alice Springs are crazy expensive for such short flights. The train to Broken Hill is much cheaper, but takes around 13 hours, which is difficult to justify with only 3–4 days in Sydney.
So, if I’m basically limited to Sydney and the surrounding area unless there is another alternative I am unaware of, what would you recommend as the best way to experience and learn about First Nations culture?
I’m happy to travel outside the CBD if there are particularly worthwhile places or experiences within a reasonable distance.
If you only had 3–4 days in Sydney and wanted to get as much exposure to Aboriginal culture, history and art as possible, what would you recommend?
Thanks in advance!

i’m going on my first solo trip to budapest next month and i’m wondering what are some quirky, unique, places to visit? i loved the space medusa bar in berlin alongside kit kat club. I also loved the green flamingo bar, and the dog bar in prague. i’m just into cool (and kind of gritty bars). i also love immersive experiences that are trippy.
on my list ive already got szimpla, the zoo cafe, the for sale pub (to leave a note) and cinema mystica.
what else would be good for me to visit? any cool bars? immersive experiences? and just random fun activities? please let me know of any other ruin bars that are similar to szimpla too! Thanks
Are there people or groups who donate or send delta miles to people who are trying to see a family member?

Hi, me (26F) and three friends booked a trip to Albania in mid September and still haven’t decided on the itinerary. Me and one other friend really want to go to the north (as we have beaches at home), and the other two prefer to go to the beach, so I was wondering on how doable would be to do both?
We were thinking:
Day 1 - Tirana (me and friend 1 arrive)
Day 2 - Tirana (friend 2 and 3 arrive)
Day 3 - drive to Dhermi / Himare (undecided on which to stay)
Day 4 - Dhermi / Himare
Day 5 - Dhermi / Himare
Day 6 - drive to Shkoder
Day 7 - go to Theth or Shala river (friend 1 leaves)
Day 8 - Theth or Shala river
Day 8 - go back to Tirana in the afternoon
Day 9 - Tirana
Day 10 - Tirana (and we leave at night)
Do you think this is doable? Do you think we should just stick to an area? It’s kinda tricky because neither of us wants to give up on either waterfalls/beach. Are we skipping any cool place by travelling this much? Any suggestions?
Also if anyone has been to Permet or any waterfall/mountain area in the south, could it be a good alternative to Theth if we need to compromise?
Thanks for the help :)

Hi from Canada my friends!! Sorry for the long post but I’m logistically confused and I fear I’m not finding enough information about my situation online. Thank you in advance for the help.
I'm staying in Malmö in early-September and I'm planning some day trips from my base there. One of them I'm planning is a full solo hiking day trip to Mölle & Kullaberg Nature Reserve on Thursday, September 10, 2026 or one of the days around that timeframe.
As an aside, here’s a few other trips I’m planning:
· Ystad + Ales Stenar
· Jakriborg + Lund + Dalby Söderskog
· Landskrona + Ven
· Båstad + Hovs Hallar
· Backup plan if one of the above don’t work out: Skanör/Falsterbo
· I’ve already been to CPH and Helsingborg in this trip and past trips so not too interested in another day in these places, though they’re both lovely.
I'm staying near Malmö Central Station and will be travelling entirely by public transportation on this solo hiking excursion. I'm hoping some locals / people familiar with Kullaberg can sanity-check my plan and, especially, help me figure out the best way to structure the hiking and return journey.
I'm a very active traveller and I’m hunting for dramatic coastal scenery, cliffs, photographic spots, interesting geology, coastal villages, seafood, and of course excellent pastries and coffee!
My tentative plan is as follows:
I'll have breakfast in Malmo until 7:30ish, then walk to Malmö C and ideally leave around 07:30–08:00.
I'd expect to arrive in Mölle around 10:00-ish, depending on the public transportation connections.
I'd then like to do something roughly like:
Mölle → Ransvik → Josefinelust → Kullen Lighthouse/Naturum → explore the northern/eastern side of Kullaberg → potentially Arild → public transport back to Malmö
I'm deliberately trying to avoid simply taking transportation to the lighthouse, spending an hour there, and returning. Does this sound manageable for an average fit hiker with some snacks/food + water + hat + sunscreen?
I’m also wondering: Mölle → Kullaberg → Arild?
I've seen that the reserve recommends the Mölle → Kullaberg → Arild route as a good public-transport hiking excursion.
For those who have actually done it:
Would you recommend:
Option A: Malmö → Mölle → hike Kullaberg → back to Mölle → back toward Malmö
or
Option B: Malmö → Mölle → hike across Kullaberg → Arild → back toward Malmö
I'm leaning toward B, but I don't want to create a logistical nightmare where I finish the hike in Arild and then discover the evening public transportation is terrible. How practical is this in early September, particularly on a weekday like Thursday?
Also, what trails would you actually recommend?
I'm finding several different trail descriptions/maps, but it's difficult to determine which sections are genuinely the most spectacular and beautiful.
If I have approximately 6 hours for Kullaberg, what would you prioritize?
For example:
Mölle → Ransvik - Worth doing along the coast?
Ransvik → Josefinelust - How scenic is this section?
Josefinelust - Are the caves and viewpoints worth exploring? Which caves are top end?
Josefinelust → Kullen Lighthouse - Best recommended route?
Around Kullen Lighthouse - Obviously planning to see the lighthouse, but how much time is actually worthwhile here?
Northern/blue trail - Is this substantially more spectacular than the southern/red trail?
Kullaberg → Arild - Is the hike toward Arild one of the best parts of the peninsula, or is it mostly just useful for making the route point-to-point?
If you had to choose the 3–5 best viewpoints/sections of trail on Kullaberg, which would they be?
Also, is what I’m planning just too difficult for a trip? I'm comfortable with a long day, but I'd love local perspective on the logistics, terrain, distance and all. Would normal trail runners with good grip be sufficient, or would you recommend proper hiking shoes?
And are there any sections where you would not recommend going in wet/windy weather?
I'm seeing a lot of summer information online and don't want to accidentally plan around something that ends in August. I'll be there on a September weekday.
· Does the Mölle → Kullen lighthouse bus still operate?
· Are any cafés/restaurants recommended during the likely reduced September hours? Great coffee, pastries, seafood lunches! I've seen Ransvik Havsveranda mentioned as a possible lunch stop because it's actually on/near the hiking route. Is it genuinely good, or is there somewhere better?
· Does Naturum have normal September hours? Likewise, is the café at Kullen Lighthouse worthwhile for fika, or is it mainly convenient because you're already there? I'm perfectly happy carrying a sandwich/pastry if the best strategy is to maximize hiking time.
· Are there any guided hikes?
· Are cave tours still running?
· Are there any organized hikes around September 10?
· Is there something in Mölle itself that I shouldn't skip?
My ideal day
Something approximately like:
07:30–10:00 — public transportation Malmö → Mölle
10:00–10:30 — Mölle harbour + coffee/pastry
10:30–12:00 — Mölle → Ransvik → coastal hiking
12:00–12:45 — lunch
12:45–14:30 — Ransvik → Josefinelust + caves/coast
14:30–15:15 — toward Kullen Lighthouse
15:15–16:00 — lighthouse + Naturum
16:00 onward — northern Kullaberg / additional coastal hiking
~18:00–19:00 — either continue toward Arild or return toward Mölle
~20:30–21:30 — back in Malmö
I'm completely flexible on this.
If you know Kullaberg well, please tell me where I'm getting this wrong.
Would you:
start somewhere other than Mölle?
prioritize the northern trail over the red trail? (especially as a solo traveller)
go all the way to Arild? Or return to Mölle?
book a guided hike?
change the timing entirely?
I'm much more interested in what an experienced local would actually do than what a generic travel itinerary recommends.
Thanks my friends and I can’t wait to visit you!

Hello!
I'm looking to take my child (5) away to a christmas market in europe this year.
Flying ideally from Luton, but could stretch to another if needed. No longer than 2/3 hours flight and the destination cant be too far by public transport from the airport.
Looking for fairytale, super festive magical destinations - already done Dresden.
Thank you

Hey guys,
I'm going on a 10-day trip to Guatemala in a few weeks with my boyfriend and I thought of packing some games with me. What are your favorite games that you always pack with you, besides the classic deck of cards/uno?

In October, I’m flying from DC (either IAD or BWI) to Italy (major airport TBD), then Italy to Athens, then Athens back to DC. For the EU/US legs, I think the only option is booking separate one-way trips, right? Might be a stupid question but I’ve only ever booked round trip before.
In late September, I'll have a 6 day trip in Spain. For outside reasons, the trip must both begin and end in Madrid.
I'm curious for folks' thoughts -- would you recommend spending the full 6 days in Madrid or perhaps splitting 3 days in Madrid and 3 days somewhere else?
To me, it's on that awkward cusp; I feel like my ideal amount of time spent in a city is often 4 days. I'm currently leaning toward just spending the 6 days based in Madrid and doing two or three day trips out to Toledo, Segovia, maybe somewhere else?
For reference, this will be my first time in Spain. I live in NYC so I wouldn't mind a few days in a slower-paced, less-bustling town.
Welcome any thoughts -- thank you in advance!

Mexican-American girl here. I have 10 days off in October and I planned an amazing itinerary for Utah: slot canyons, backpacking, off-road. I also landed a permit for the White Rim road.
The reason why I am very hesitant about this trip. Is because:
-I would be driving close to 20 hours (plus back) to get there from Texas. It comes out cheaper than flying and renting a car.
-I need a 4x4 rental for white rim road. This is gonna set me back $700 for two days.
- this will be a tiring, intense, risky roadtrip that's gonna be weather dependent. I also will be mostly camping (which I do like)
-Will be cooking most of my stuff too to save costs.
After adding all expenses, I realized I could do something else. Ie go to Puerto Rico or Guatemala. More relax, laid-back, better food.
But tbf, I'm torn. Idk what to do. Utah is very special to me.

What adjustments to your travel plans are you making for next year as the world likely deals with a “super” El Niño weather phenomenon?
Are you considering / not considering certain places or considering not travelling internationally at all because of it?
If you are considering amending plans, what factors are you thinking about most (ex - natural disasters, political unrest, cost of living increase making travel unaffordable, ethics, etc)?
Is it worth the Elite membership? I loved it back when it was Scott’s Cheap Flights, but the free tier hasn’t been great in a while. (No, I still don’t want to go to Ft Lauderdale or Atlanta, thanks.) Does anyone have experience with the Elite tier? Are the deals actually that good? $200 is VERY expensive for a “maybe.”

Hello! My husband and I go on a trip each year without our son, we usually do all inclusive (less expensive, we save the big trips as a family) getaways, we’ve been to the DR and Mexico several times and have enjoyed it. Any suggestions for this year? Thinking around $5k total, hot location, with amble pool and beach time.
I am studying for my exchange in Johor Bahru Malaysia and would like to know the best weekend (2-4 day trips) around Southeast Asia that are accessible from Singapore as that is the closest major airport.
Any recommendations and advice are much appreciated.
I’d love to visit Vietnam, but am undecided between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. I have been told to go to Taiwan too but unsure where is the best and I would like to meet my friend, who is in Australia, in either Perth or the Philippines.
Thanks in advance!

Me and wife are planning a September trip to either Cala d’or Mallorca or Paros Greece for 9 days and we trying to see which place ticks our boxes of great food, great beaches, tons of activities and a nightlife where we can have fun. We are in our late 20s so we don’t want to be bored.
If you have other recommendations for place instead please do share.
Thanks!
