Booking a trip with a tight budget (I already booked it)
I know this'll be down voted to hell but here's my situation.
I bought a roundtrip flight to and from Canada and Colombia. The return flight takes place 3 months after I arrive in Colombia.
I should be able to make around $3k in the next 23 days before my flight leaves. This'll allow me a budget of 1k per month which I'd be comfortable with.
My question is... Have you ever done this? Locked yourself into a trip with unsure monetary prospects? How did it turn out?
I've got a couple workaway gigs lined up, lasting anywhere between 2 and 6 weeks a piece. But I've been in this situation before and I know how fast money can disappear in even the easiest circumstances.
