Joy Division - Closer [Post-Punk] 40 Years ago today, Ian Curtis of Joy Division took his own life. One month later to the day, Joy Division released Closer, arguably the greatest post-punk album of all time. Today also marks the start of Mental Health Awareness Week in the UK.
