I mean, sure, it's not on the level of the first two, but the first two (especially the second one) set the bar so high that a let-down was inevitable. Still, I think the amount of hate this movie gets is way too overblown and everyone is way too nitpicky about it. It's a perfectly passable movie. Still very fun, with that same feel-good combination of humor and heart, but just not as memorable, clever and well-constructed as the first two. That doesn't mean it's terrible, even if the plot is really dumb compared to others. This is the kind of thing that simply shouldn't be overanalyzed. The kind of thing to turn your brain off and have fun. Anyone else feel similarly about this one?
