There is a difference between Reviewing a movie and summarizing it right ?

Everytime I try to review a movie, I end up summarizing most of its story without spoiling the movie and I criticize how the story was whether if it’s good or bad. Is this how you review movies ? Are you suppose to criticize it without explaining the main plot ? How do you review movies because most of my reviews seem more like summary’s other than actual reviews
