I visited zanzibar and absolutely loved the intercultural fusions—there were arabs, indians, swahilis, africans all living together and speaking languange, playing carrom, practicing their religions...what are other places in the world like that? idk if these spaces tend to be islands or along the coast due to colonization (slavery, indentured labors, migration from conflict & refuge)
Is turkey also ethnically diverse?
