[PORTUGAL] Lisbon To Porto by Train Q

Hello,

We are looking to take the AP train from Lisbon to Porto in September and came across a few questions

​

1. According to Seat 61, children under 4 travels for free, however, when I try to book a ticket on CP.PT or OMIO, it mentions that a child under 4 needs to sit on a lap? Should we be getting a seat for our little one? (for children under 12 which is 50% off)
2. Do we have it correct that we should be purchasing a ticket with the following stations?

Lisboa - Santa Apolonia - Porto - Campanha. From here we are thinking of doing the free transfer and take the suburban train to the Porto São Bento station and uber to the hotel from here.

1. Is there specific time that i should avoid on Sunday? (planning to book a 8am train since anything between 9-12pm seems to be ineligible for promo pricing.
