I travel to Europe a lot and sometimes I used different airport to return to the US but the immigration lines are always unpredictable, especially during summer.
Last week I traveled from Italy to the United States and it took me about three hours in a line because I forgot my global entry card and the kiosk was not working. Has that happened to anyone?
I saw a family with kids sitting in the floor at JFK airport and elderly people just waiting for inspection. I felt horrible for them and me because I was waiting tired after traveling for hours.
I made this tool to check estimated wait times so maybe it will help some travelers have a better idea what the line might look like.
