Hey guys. Tomorrow I will be flying to Japan at 2:30 PM from DFW. I have a few questions about jet lag:

How do I prepare and try to adjust as quickly as possible and to reduce the effects of jet lag when I get to Japan? I’ve heard things like depriving yourself of sleep the night before so you sleep according to Japan time on the flight. But I’m not sure about anything, since idk anything above the time zone difference that is between Japan and the US (idk how westbound and eastbound and etc works regarding how it affects you and stuff)

This is more important, since I’m extremely busy in school and when I come back on a Saturday, school starts for me on Monday, so I need to be locked in and ready. I’ve heard how return flights are horrible, but how do I best mitigate jet lag within the 1-2 days I have? How do I make my first week of school back bearable?
