I have a flight booked from the UK to Istanbul this Thursday and returning Sunday. I know the missile incidents happened far from Istanbul, but I’m not very familiar with the region or geopolitics and not sure how to interpret the situation.
My main concern is escalation and whether that could disrupt flights or make it difficult to leave Turkey over the weekend, or in a worst case scenario affect safety in Istanbul itself.
Curious if anyone there or following the situation has thoughts.
