Hey all! I'm planning a trip and would love outside eyes on the pacing before I lock things in. Flying overnight from North America, landing in Amsterdam on Sept 6, then onward to Sicily, and flying home out of Rome on Sept 14.
Here's the plan:
- Sept 6 (Sun): Land Amsterdam early afternoon. Explore that evening.
- Sept 7 (Mon): Full day in Amsterdam. Evening flight to Catania, arriving 9:30pm.
- Sept 8 (Tue): Morning in Catania. Day trip to Syracuse.
- Sept 9 (Wed): Catania -> Taormina.
- Sept 10 (Thu): Etna day trip?
- Sept 11 (Fri): Flight from Catania → Naples, few hours in central Naples, then to Sorrento for the night.
- Sept 12 (Sat): Day trip to Capri from Sorrento.
- Sept 13 (Sun): Flex day. Stay in Sorrento or day trip to Positano.
- Sept 14 (Mon): Straight from Sorrento to Rome (train), then to FCO for a 2:15pm flight.
I would appreciate any thoughts or advice!
