Looking to do a possible 180 on my life. Last summer I travelled for 24 days and spent $7k Canadian ($5k USD) in that time period. I'm thinking of traveling for a year.
In those 24 days I did London, Venice, Rome, Barcelona, Faro, Lagos, Lisbon, and Porto. I stayed in hostels.
I'm researching costs and people are saying they were able to do a year of travel for 20-40k. Obviously my units don't scale well.
Anyone who's done it before have any advice?
