Hi! I have a 17 hour layover in Bogota. I arrive 8pm and my flight the next day is 2pm. I was thinknig of booking a hotel overnight near the airport, but would I have enough time to explore or see something in Bogota knowing that my flight the next day is 2pm?
I heard traffic in Bogota can be notoriously bad, and I'm worried about missing my flight. The flight will all be in a single ticket, so I won't need to check out my luggage if it helps.
Hoping to get some advice on this please!
Myself, my partner, and 4 friends have been on Holiday in spain. We were due to fly back to the UK but Barcelona airport shut down due to weather 2 hours before our flight.
We were left to find emergency accommodation for 2 nights as Ryanair were too busy to do it for us. Unfortunately they were not very clear on what "reasonable expenses" means.
The problem is that my and my gf booked together and the 4 friends booked together, so we have 2 bookings but doing the exact same activities e.c.t
We were looking at Hotels around the airport and in Barcelona. Because of the amount of people suddenly booking last minute hotels, there were very very few available. The ones that were available were €400+ per night per room (we would need 3 rooms)
At the last minute, we managed to find an Airbnb for just under €600. We booked it ASAP due to not wanting to lose it, but it would fall under the umbrella of "luxury" which Ryanair is funny with. We also had to take a €100 taxi to it due to the time of night.
I have paid for it all on my card to keep the payments simple for us. We will also need to be claiming for our food and basic necessities.
My question is, will ryanair kick up a fuss? Even though logically we have saved them easily €600+ by booking together in a villa rather than separate hotels at €400+.
Another question would be how does it work with me paying for 6 but only 2 being on my booking?
TIA. I wonder if this will even flag up for ryanair given the amount of claims they will be having

A family member is getting married in the Netherlands next July.
Me and my wife would like to spend a week or a little bit more on vacation in Europe before the wedding. If everything goes according to plan, she could be pretty pregnant during the trip.
Recommendations on places where we could enjoy nice views, good food and some easy hiking? We are more nature people than city people.
Thanks!

Hi! I (30F) will be traveling in Egypt in May 2027 and hoping to get some recommendations. I plan to spend the first part of my trip on a G Adventures tour, but will end with 4 days solo in Cairo due to cheap flights. I want to visit Alexandria and possibly El Fayoum on day trips and am looking at booking at Villa Layla Hostel or Dahab Hostel due to their tour desks.
This will be my first trip on the African continent, but I've traveled in China, Australia, across Europe, Peru, across the United States solo and am still a bit intimidated by Cairo.
