Just curious. Are the prices for hotels and experiences in areas different for locals vs foreigners?
Reason for asking is that. I wanna travel to Puerto Rico. I see the prices of booking these things online. Not bad. But I'm Venezuelan. Now american too. And can speak perfect Spanish with the appropriate accent. I wonder if I show up and basically pass myself off as a local, which I easily could, would the prices be any different or would I be treated any differently? Could I get a better deal?
Has anyone else had any similar experiences of traveling to a country where you already spoke the language?
